• Are more commonly identified on properties which have rear lane access
  
• Require Development Approval or CDC Approval
  
• Create additional living / workspaces
  
• Are usually less than 60m2 in area
  
• Are generally accommodated with bedroom & bathroom only
  
• Have internal access from the garage and the rear lane
  
• Generally cannot be subdivided but may provide an additional rental income
